Pengembangan Perangkat Pembelajaran Bangun Ruang Sisi Lengkung Berbasis Model Discovery Learning Untuk Memfasilitasi Kemampuan Pemahaman Matematis Siswa SMP/Mts
One of the main focuses that must be achieved in learning mathematics is for students to have mathematical understanding abilities (KPM), but in fact students' KPM is still relatively low, and the learning tools used by teachers cannot be said to be able to facilitate KPM. This study aims to produce learning tools that include syllabus, lesson plans and LAS based on the Discovery Learning (DL) model to facilitate the mathematical understanding of SMP/MTs students on curved side-space construction materials that have valid and practical values. Development research is carried out using a 4-D model (Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate). Types of data obtained in the form of quantitative and qualitative data. The research instrument was in the form of a learning device validation sheet and student response questionnaires to LAS which were used to see the practicality of LAS. Validation was carried out by three validators and the average score of the validation results was 3.69 for syllabus validation, 3.63 for lesson plans and 3.61 for LAS. This shows that the developed product meets the very valid criteria. The valid LAS was then carried out in small group trials with 12 students. The results of the average score of the tests carried out were 3.55 in the very practical category. Based on the results of the overall data analysis, the learning tools developed have met the valid and practical criteria and can be used in the learning process.
