Efektivitas Pembelajaran Daring Dalam Masa Pandemi Covid-19 Pada Mata Pelajaran Ekonomi Kelas XII IPS Di SMAN 3 Siak Hulu
On March 24, 2020 the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia issued Circular Letter No. 4 of 2020. In the circular it is explained that the learning process is carried out at home through online learning. But the use of technology is not without problems, problems that hinder the effectiveness of learning with online methods include the use of information technology that is not accessible, the difficulty of teachers assessing the character of students, the economic limitations of parents, and students feel they do not understand the description of material through online media. This study aims to find out the effectiveness of online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic in the economics subjects of class XII IPS at SMAN 3 Siak Hulu. The sample in this study was all students of class XII IPS at SMAN 3 Siak Hulu. The data collection in this study used documentation and interview techniques. The data analysis techniques used in this study are Paired Sample t – test and N-Gain Score with the help of the SPSS 22 program. Based on the results of the Paired Sample t-Test test obtained a significance value of 0.000 which means there is a difference between learning outcomes before COVID-19 and during COVID-19.. Furthermore, the value of N - Gain Score of learning outcomes when COVID is in the ineffective category of 27.1395 or 27.1%. So it can be concluded that there is no effectiveness of online learning in the COVID-19 pandemic in the economics subjects of class XII IPS at SMAN 3 Siak Hulu. This is due to several things, including lack of motivation in students and difficulty mastery and understanding of materials experienced by students in following online learning.
