Uji Isolat Jamur Rizosfer Tanaman Cabai Dan Konsorsiumnya Untuk Mengendalikan Jamur Patogen Tular Benih Bawang Merah (Allium Ascalonicum L.) Dan Pengaruhnya Terhadap Daya Kecambah Benih
ABSTRACT
This research aims to test and obtain isolates and a consortium of rhizosphere
fungi from chili plants to control onion seed-borne pathogenic fungi of onion
plant. The research has been conducted at the Laboratory of Plant Disease and
Greenhouse Experimental Field at Faculty of Agriculture, Riau University,
Pekanbaru. The research was done experimentally using a completely randomized
design (CRD) consisting of 7 treatments, namely: without rhizosphere fungi (R0),
Trichoderma sp. (R1), Aspergillus sp. (R2), Mucor sp. (R3), Trichoderma
sp.+Aspergillus sp. (R4), Trichoderma sp.+Mucor sp. (R5) and Trichoderma
sp.+Aspergillus sp. +Mucor sp. (R6). The data were analyzed using BNJ
(significantly honest difference) at level of 5%. The results shows that the soaking
of shallot seeds with consortium of Trichoderma sp.+ Aspergillus sp.+Mucor sp.
provide a high tendency of inhibition against the fungus Aspergillus sp. (1) by
88.33% and Aspergillus sp. (2) 66.67%, isolates of Trichoderma sp. provide a
high tendency of inhibition against the fungus Curvularia sp. by 69.17%, the
mushroom consortium Trichoderma sp.+Aspergillus sp. provide a high tendency
of inhibition against the fungus Chrysosporium sp. by 63.33% and Rhizopus
sp. by 60.00%. The soaking of shallot seeds with isolate Mucor sp. showed the
incidence of the fungus Aspergillus sp. (1) (1.50%), Aspergillus sp. (2) (0.75%)
and Rhizopus sp. (3.50%) which tends to be higher and significantly different
from other treatments. The soaking of shallot seeds with isolate Aspergillus sp
has the highest yield of plant height, of 15.31 cm. Shallot seeds treated with or
without isolate treatment and a consortium of rhizosphere fungi had the same of
leaves (two pieces).
