Inventarisasi Jenis-Jenis Bambusa (Poaceae) Di Kabupaten Rokan Hulu Provinsi Riau Dan Analisis Hubungan Kekerabatannya
Sumatra has the highest diversity of bamboo in Indonesia. The genus
Bambusa spp. is the most abundant species in Riau Province. However, there
seems to be no information or initial data regarding the diversity inventory of
bamboo in the Regency of Rokan Hulu. The purpose of this study is to take
inventory and identify the various species of Bambusa in Rokan Hulu Regency of
Riau Province and analyze the plant diversity relationship. This study used the
exploration method, namely by searching for the bamboos, both wild and
cultivated in Rokan Hulu, and describing the species and uses of the bamboo as
well as making key identifications. This study used the NTSys application to
view the relationship between plant diversity. According to the results, the
Bambusa genus in Rokan Hulu Regency, Riau Province, accounts to 4 types,
although one type has two variety namely B. blumeana, B. glaucophylla, B.
multiplex, B. vulgaris, B. vulgaris var. striata. Analysis results on plant diversity
of the identified Bambusa types revealed that B. multiplex has a significantly
close relationship with an index of 0.61 with B. glaucophylla.
