Keanekaragaman Pisang (Musa-Musaceae) Di Kecamatan Batang Tuaka, Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir, Provinsi Riau Berdasarkan Karakter Morfologi

Musa (Banana) is one of genus in Musaceae that have high diversity. Most of the
members of this genus are main tropical fruit plant that widely cultivated in
Indonesia, including in Batang Tuaka, Indragiri Hilir, Riau Province. The aims of
the study were to inventory and examine the diversity of bananas in Batang Tuaka
district based on morphological character. This study was conducted from
Oktober 2021 to Januari 2022. Samples were collected from the field using
exploration method. Morphological character were described, scored and were
than analyzed using NTYSys pc2.02. The result showed a total of four banana
spesies and 21 cultivars of bananas were identified in this study, that consisted of
Musa acuminata (8 cultivars), Musa paradisiaca (8 cultivars), Musa acuminata x
balbisiana (4 cultivars) and Musa balbisiana (1 cultivar). The similarity
coeeficient value ranged from 0,14 to 0,58. Dendrogram was grouped based and
morphological characters.
