Studi Pemanfaatan Fasilitas Pangkalan Pendaratan Ikan (Ppi) Gaung Kota Padang Provinsi Sumatera Barat

ABSTRACK
A series of survey activities were conducted to obtain information on the condition
and existence of the Gaung fish landing base facility in Padang City, West Sumatra
Province, as well as to determine the type and capacity of the facility. All of this
information is useful for evaluating the level of facility utilization. The results showed that
the utilization for the loading dock was 9,4%, meaning that it was underutilized, the
utilization for the area of the harbor pond was 2.837%, meaning it was highly utilized, the
utilization for the depth of the harbor pond was 180,5%, meaning it was highly utilized, and
the utilization for fish auction sites was 159,69% means that it is highly utilized. Based on a
comparative analysis, the Fish Landing Base is located in Gaung, and has the potential to
be developed in the future.
