Uji Pertumbuhan Dan Daya Hasil 20 Genotipe Tanaman Cabai (Capsicum Sp.) Toleran Pada Lahan Gambut
ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine the yield capacity of 20 genotypes of chili (Capsicum
sp.) that are adaptive in peatlands. This research was carried out from November
2020 to April 2021 on peat land on Jalan Manunggal, Tuah Karya Village,
Tampan District, Pekanbaru City, Riau and the Plant Breeding Laboratory,
Faculty of Agriculture, Riau University. This study used a randomized block
design (RAK) with 20 genotypes and three replications, so that 60 experimental
units were obtained, from 20 genotypes. Each experimental unit contained 20
plants and 10 plants were taken as samples. The data obtained were analyzed by
ANOVA using SAS 9.00 software. On the variables that resulted in a real F test,
Dunnet's follow-up test was carried out at a 5% level. The treatments tested on
large chilies, curly chilies and cayenne peppers showed that the characters of
dichotomous height, plant height, weight per fruit and fruit weight per plant for
the three types of chili had significant differences for each chili observed. The
results showed that the CG3 genotype which was classified as large chili had the
highest number of fruits compared to all comparison varieties (Anies, F6 074,
Gada F1, dan Seloka), all tested curly chili genotypes had a heavier fruit weight
compared to the comparison variety (KastiloF1), and all cayenne pepper
genotypes tested had fruit weight per plant. better plant than the comparison
variety Bara.
