Keragaan Tanaman Jagung (Zea Mays L.) Pada Dystrudepts Yang Diaplikasi Ekstrak Batubara Muda (Lignite) Dan Pupuk P
ABSTRACK
The need for corn in Indonesia continues to increase and efforts are needed to increase
corn production, one of which is by extensification. With extensification, untapped
lands such as marginal lands Dystrudepts began to be used. Dystrudepts is infertile soil,
the solution to the problem with Dystrudepts is chalk. However, Riau does not have a
limestone deposit. Another alternative that can be done is to give humat material from
the aims. Riau is one of the provinces that has the largest coal reserves in Indonesia.
The goal of the study was to find a combination of treatments and study the effect of
giving humat from young coal (lignite) and P fertilizers to the interaction of P
availability and corn crop insecurity in Dystrudepts. The study was conducted from
October 2020 to January 2021. The study was conducted in a 4x4x3 experiment
arranged using a complete randomized factorial design resulting in 48 experimental
units. The treatment of lignite is given at a dose of 0 kg.ha-1, 600 kg.ha-1, 900 kg.ha-1,
1200 kg.ha-1and P fertilizer treatment with a dose of 0 kg.ha-1, 75 kg.ha-1, 112.5 kg.ha-
1, 150 kg.ha-1. The observed parameters that is plant height, stem diameter, number of
leaves, chlorophyll analysis, dry weight of header, root volume, dry weight of roots,
shoot root ratio, cob weight, cob diameter, cob length. The interaction between lignite
and P fertilizer had no significant effect on the parameters of corn.
