Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Interaktif Menggunakan Articulate Storyline Pada Materi Laju Reaksi SMA/Ma Sederajat
Education in the era of the rapid development of information technology provides easy access to find and obtain various information about knowledge quickly through the internet network. The influence of technological developments in the world of education makes the learning process easier. Since the development of technology, many changes have occurred in the learning process and ensure the existence of a distance learning system or online learning. One of the major roles of technology in online learning is the development of learning media. Learning media using appropriate, good and interesting technology can greatly assist teachers in delivering the material being taught. Learning media using technology is not only a solution in online learning, but in offline learning or face to face learning, learning media using technology makes the learning process easier.
The results of interviews with chemistry teachers and distributing questionnaires to students, there are problems online learning is still using textbooks, teaching materials such as modules taken from the internet and learning media used are taken from youtube. The lack of use of interesting, independent and interactive learning media in supporting the online learning process makes students have difficulty understanding the material. Teachers feel limited by space and time to explain material that students have not understood. In addition, many students have not yet completed in achieving the competence of the reaction rate material, because students feel that the reaction rate material is a difficult material. Students assess learning media that uses technology will be more interesting and increase motivation and overcome difficulties during the learning process. Therefore, it is necessary to develop an interactive learning media using an articulate storyline on the reaction rate material.
The process of developing interactive learning media using an articulate storyline on the reaction rate material for SMA/MA Equivalent is designed using a research and development (R & D) design with the ADDIE model used. The
ADDIE model consists of five stages, namely the analysis stage, the design stage,
the development stage, the implementation stage and the evaluation stage.
Research on the development of interactive learning media using articulate
storylines on the reaction rate material was carried out in a period of approximately
6 months starting from July to December 2021. The development of interactive
learning media using articulate storylines on the reaction rate material went through
a validation process by 4 validators consisting of 2 material expert validator and 2
media expert validators. Furthermore, a one-on-one trial was carried out with 3
students and a small group trial (trial to 3 chemistry teachers and a trial to 20
students) to find out the interactive learning media using articulate storylines on the
reaction rate material that was developed was valid.
The results of the research on the development of interactive learning media
using articulate storylines on the reaction rate material based on material experts
obtained a percentage of 96.77% on valid criteria and media validation obtained a
percentage of 98.435% on valid or appropriate criteria for use. At the stage of the
teacher response test, the percentage obtained was 94.26% on the criteria for very
good results. And at the student response test stage, a percentage of 92% was
obtained on the criteria for very good results.
