The diversity of mangoes in Indonesia is one of the important aspects of the
source of germplasm that needs to be maintained and conserved. Exploration of
mango diversity in Sungai Piring Village and Pulau Palas Village has never been
carried out. This research aims to inventory the diversity of mangoes in Sungai
Piring and Pulau Palas villages, Indragiri Hilir Regency and analyze their kinship
based on morphological characters. The research was conducted in Sungai Piring
Village and Pulau Palas Village, Indragiri Hilir Regency, Riau Province from
October 2021 to January 2022. The method used was an exploratory method for
sampling. The data analysis used NTSys pc 2.02i F to lock at mango diversity.
The results of the field exploration identificated a total of 47 samples individuals,
consisted of 5 species there are Mangifera indica (35 individuals), Mangifera
laurina (7 individuals), Mangifera odorata (2 individuals), Mangifera foetida (1
individuals) and Mangifera casturi (2 individuals). Analysis of diversity using
