Kelamin Pada Ras Mongoloid Usia Korelasi Dimensi Ukuran Tulang Phalanx Medial Jari Tangan Dengan Tinggi Badan Berdasarkan Jenis 18 - 45 Tahun Di Pekanbaru Dan Siak
Forensic identification is an effort made to determine the identity of a person or
corpse by matching data obtained from antemortem data. One thing that is needed
in the forensic identification process is determining height. Estimation of height can
be determined by long bones of the body, one of which is medial phalanx bone of
the fingers. This research was conducted in Riau Province with a sample of 226
respondents (113 men and 113 women) with an age range of 18 - 45 years. This
study aims to obtain correlation values and linear regression formula of medial
phalanx dimension to height based on sex in mongoloid race aged 18 - 45 years in
Riau Province. The study design is cross sectional. Thereare 6 dimensions of the
size of the medial phalanx on the right and left fingers. The data obtained were
performed correlation analysis and linear regression. The highest correlation
coefficient (r) in men was the length of the medial phalanx bone of the right middle
finger with a strong correlation strength of 0.673 (p
