Gambaran Gejala Klinis Dan Tipe Histopatologi Pada Pasien Kanker Serviks Yang Di Biopsi Di Rsud Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau
Cervical cancer is one of the most common types of cancer that affects
women with high morbidity and mortality rates worldwide, including in Indonesia.
Riau is one of the three provinces with the highest cervical cancer cases in
Indonesia. It is important for clinicians to be able to know the description of clinical
symptoms and the type of anatomic pathology of this disease so that the diagnosis
can be made earlier and better. This study aims to determine the description of
clinical symptoms and histopathological types of cervical cancer patients who
underwent biopsies at the Arifin Achmad Hospital, Riau.This research is a
retrospective descriptive study conducted at the Arifin Achmad Hospital in
December 2021. The research data were obtained from the medical records of 47
cervical cancer patients who underwent biopsy examination at Arifin Achmad
Hospital, Riau for the period 1 November 2020 - 31 October 2021.The results of
this study found that the majority of patients with complaints of vaginal discharge
were at stage IIB (6,3%), the majority of patients with complaints of vaginal
bleeding were at stage IIIB (34%), the majority of patients with complaints of postcoitus
bleeding were in stages IIIA and IIIB (2, 1%), the majority of patients with
complaints of lower abdominal pain were at stage IIB (2.1%), and the majority of
patients with complaints of hip pain were at stage IVB (2.1%). Based on
histopathological features, the majority of patients had squamous cell carcinoma
(80.9%).The conclusion of this study is that the most clinical symptom of cervical
cancer patients is vaginal bleeding and the most histopathological results are
squamous cell carcinoma.
