This study aims to determine whether the application of character values to elementary
school age children by parents in Maredan Barat Village, Tualang District, Siak Regency is
classified as good or not. The application of character values in children from an early age is
expected to be able to fortify children in acting and acting so as not to violate the applicable norms.
This research uses descriptive quantitative research. Collecting data using documentation,
observation, and questionnaires about the application of character values with a Likert scale of 1-5.
The data analysis technique used descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis.
The results showed that the application of character values in elementary school age children by
parents in Maredan Barat Village, Tualang District, Siak Regency was based on character values
related to God Almighty, character values related to oneself, character values related to others, and
Character values related to the environment are quite high with an average mean obtained by
indicators of 3.74.
