Pertumbuhan Dan Produksi Tanaman Cabai Merah (Capsicum Annuum L.) Yang Diberi Formula Pupuk Organik Dan Anorganik Serta Serangan Hamanya Dikendalikan Dengan Berbagai Jenis Insektisida
ABSTRACT
This study aims to increase growth and production by providing organic and
inorganic fertilizer formulas with various insecticides on red chili (Capsicum
annuum L.). The research was conducted at Langsat Permai Village, Bunga Raya
District, Riau Province from June to November 2020, in a factorial completely
randomized experimental design in three replications. The first factor is fertilizer
formula (F), namely: F1 = 16 ton.ha-1 organic and 100% inorganic, F2 = 20 ton.ha-1
organic and 75% inorganic, F3 = 24 ton.ha-1 organic and 50% inorganic, F4 = 28
ton.ha-1 organic and 25% inorganic. The second factor, type of insecticide (I) was:
I1 = chemical, I2 = semi-vegetable, and I3 = biological agents. The variables
observed were plant height, dichotomous height, flowering age, harvest age, fruit
length, weight per fruit, fruit weight per plant, number of fruit, pest attack
percentage, types of pests that attack, and root volume. The research data were
analyzed of variance and followed by duncan multiple range test at 5% level. The
results showed that the interaction between fertilizer formula and type of
insecticide was seen in: harvest age, number of fruit, fruit weight per plant and
root volume. The flowering age and pest attack percentage generative were
affected by fertilizer formula and type of insecticide. The vegetative pest attack
percentage was only affected by the type of insecticide. The combination of 16
tons ha-1 organic fertilizer formula and 100% inorganic fertilizer with semivegetable
insecticides got the best production results among other combinations.
The combination of 24 tons ha-1 organic and 50% inorganic fertilizer with
biological insecticides got good results on the variable number of fruit and root
volume.
