Penerapan Internet Of Things Pada Sistem Monitoring Dan Peringatan Dini Pendeteksi Kebocoran Gas Lpg Menggunakan Aplikasi Telegram
ABSTRACT
The Internet of Things (IoT) is a technology that allows us to connect machines,
equipment, and other physical objects with sensors, networks and actuators to
obtain data and manage their own performance. LPG is a mixture of various
hydrocarbon elements derived from crude oil and natural gas and its main
components are propane (C3H8) and butane (C4H10). At the beginning of its
launch, LPG had no odor at all, so it is very difficult for us to know whether the
gas cylinders are leaking or not. Based on the hazard is designed a system that
can detect, monitor and warn the user of danger when there is a leak in a room
that works in real time. Hardware and software are needed in this study
consisting of NodeMCUESP8266 V3, MQ-2 sensor, I2C LCD, power bank,
buzzer, and telegram application. When the sensor detects a gas ≥300 ppm, the
device will turn on the buzzer, displays warning messages on the LCD and sends
a danger notification in the form of a warning message to the telegram group. The
test results showed that the time it takes to send a hazard notification to the
telegram app is about 2-4 seconds, while the time it takes to send and receive gas
data to the telegram group is about 4 seconds.
