Modeling Sistem Monitoring Jaringan Internet Menggunakan Whatsup Gold Pada Pt Indonesia Comnet Plus Palembang

ABSTRACT
Currently PT Indonesia Comnet Plus Palembang does not monitor the internet
network, this makes IT Support difficult to control and check one by one device
connected to the internet. The purpose of using network monitoring using WhatsApp
Gold is to make it easier to check network servers if there are problems, so that
network maintenance and device repairs can be handled and repaired faster.
Whatsup Gold Monitoring can check every device connected to the same network.
The checking process is carried out every second by pinging the IP Address of each
device automatically. If there is a reply from the IP Address ping results, the device
color will turn green, whereas if there is no reply from the device IP Address ping,
the device will turn yellow, then red if the network device is totally dead. Network
topology design at PT. Indonesia Comnet Plus Palembang uses an open source
application, namely Whatsup Gold which will be installed on the computer. After
carrying out the testing phase of the implementation of monitoring Whatsup Gold was
successfully implemented at PT. Indonesia Comnet Plus and very helpful IT Support
in identifying devices that are having problems
