Model Investasi Hijau Perkebunan Kelapa Sawit Rakyat Di Kabupaten Bengkalis
Smallholder oil palm plantations play an important role as life support for small
farmers because they have added value from an economic, social and ecological
perspective. The total area of smallholder oil palm plantations in Bengklis
Regency continues to increase from year to year. In 2014 the plantation area was
106,505 ha and in 2018 the area increased to 112,509 ha, an average yearly
increase of 1.43%. However, the plantation area is not directly proportional to the
increase in the number of farmers. In 2014 the number of farmers was 43,798
people while in 2018 the number of farmers decreased to 38,375 people, the
average number of farmers decreased by 3.01% per year. The purpose of this
study is to build a green investment model for smallholder oil palm plantations so
that plantation sustainability will be better. This research uses descriptive and
analytical quantitative approach. Based on the results of the Multidimensional
Scaling (MDS) analysis, it was found that the sustainability status of the
ecological and economic dimensions was quite sustainable with index values of
52.93% and 51.33%, respectively, while the sustainability status of the social,
technological, and institutional dimensions was less sustainable with a value of
52.93%. index of each dimension is 49.00%, 49.17%, and 45.36%. From these
five dimensions, it can be concluded that the level of sustainability of green
investment in tilapia oil palm plantations is an average of 49.56% with less
sustainable status. The results of the prospective analysis concluded that of the 22
sensitive attributes, eight key factors were found to influence the green investment
(IH) of smallholder oil palm plantations, including 1) the price of fresh fruit
bunches (FFB), 2) land fertility, 3) the use of fertilizers, 4) employment. , 5)
farmers' education level, 6) group interaction, 7) application of conservation
techniques, 8) use of superior seeds. Based on these eight key factors, it can be
described symbolically in the relationship function IH = f (h, s, p, t, d, i, k, b).
