This study aims to determine the effect of the Circle Number media on the ability to recognize the concept of numbers in children aged 5-6 years at Pembina Kinali State Kindergarten, Kinali District. This study uses a quantitative research method in the form of an experiment with a research model of one group pretest posttest design. With a population of 15 children in class B, consisting of 9 boys and 6 girls. The object of this research is the ability to recognize the concept of numbers for children aged 5-6 years. Data collection techniques are through observation and documentation. The instrument used is an observation sheet. The test is used as a data collection technique, the data obtained is then processed using a t-test to see the comparison of pretest and posttest. From the results of the study, the pretest value was smaller than the posttest value. And with the N-Gain value is in the medium category. So it can be concluded that the use of Circle Number media has an effect on the ability to recognize the concept of numbers for children aged 5-6 years.
