Tindak Tutur Ilokusi Dalam Dialog Film Kisah Untuk Geri Karya Monty Tiwa

This study aims to describe (1) the form of illocutionary speech acts contained in the
dialogue of the film "Kisah untuk Geri" by Monty Tiwa and (2) the function of the illocutionary
speech acts contained in the dialogue of the film "Kisah untuk Geri" by Monty Tiwa. This study
uses a qualitative approach using descriptive methods. The data source in this research is the
film Acts for Geri by Monty Tiwa. The data collection technique used in this study was through
listening and note-taking techniques. The data analysis techniques in this study were (1) data
reduction, (2) data presentation, and (3) drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the study,
it was found that there are four forms of illocutionary speech acts in the dialogue of the film
"Kisah untuk Geri" by Monty Tiwa, namely (1) the declarative form, (2) the interrogative form,
(3) the imperative form and (4) the exclamative form. Then the illocutionary functions found in
the dialogue of the film "Kisah untuk Geri" by Monty Tiwa are (1) assertive functions, (2)
directive functions, (3) commissive functions, (4) expressive functions, and (5) declarative
functions.
