Perancangan Sistem Ats (Automatic Transfer Switch) 3 Phase Menggunakan Plc
ABSTRACT
Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) is a system that can regulate the change in
the supply of electrical power from the main power source (PLN) to a backup
power supply (such as a generator) that works automatically by controlling the
switch movement and timing. In this article, PLC is used to control the ATS
system either automatically or manually. From the results of the study, it can be
seen that the ATS development can be realized and works according to the design
made, which is able to work well in moving the supply from PLN to the Genset
when there is no electricity supply from PLN. The test results obtained that the
time required to transfer from the PLN supply to the generator supply is 5.42
seconds while the time to transfer the generator supply to the PLN supply is 1
second. Based on 3 tests on 3 loads carried out, the measurement results obtained
that the largest voltage when supplied by PLN was 381.3 V and the smallest
voltage was 379 V, while when supplied with a generator, the largest voltage was
379.4 V and the smallest voltage was 377.6 V.
