ABSTRACT
The white board is one of the main tools in the teaching and learning process. Until
now, almost all educators in Indonesia use the manual method to erase the
blackboard. Therefore, a tool is made in the form of a microcontroller-based
whiteboard eraser by utilizing a DC motor as the main component that functions to
move the wiper eraser. The operation of the whiteboard design is done by two
methods, namely by pressing the push button and using the android bluetooth
remote as input which is sent by the android application and received by the HC-
05 Bluetooth Module in the circuit and will erase the ink marks on the whiteboard
remotely. The DC power window motor moves the swiper eraser to erase the
blackboard starting from left to right, with two limit switches as limit sensors, where
limit switch 2 functions as a change in the direction of rotation of the DC power
window motor from left to right which will change its rotation to the right. to the
left and limit switch 1 functions as a command to stop the DC motor from moving
or to turn the motor off. From the results of the travel time test, it can be concluded
that the travel time for a microcontroller-based eraser with a working area of 120
cm x 90 cm reaches 15 – 17.6s.
