Model Dan Analisis Saluran Transmisi Yang Terpasang Static Var Compensator (Svc) Menggunakan Phasor Measurment Unit (Pmu)
ABSTRACT
Research This study aims to model and analyze a Static VAR Compenator (SVC)
installed system using Matlab/Simulink R2016a, build a Phasor Measurement
Unit (PMU) connected to an SVC using Matlab/Simulink R2016a, run an SVC
installed system for monitoring phasor voltages and currents through the PMU.
This research was conducted using the simulation contained in the Matlab
R2016a application where this system consists of 10 buses with a load on each
bus with a transmission voltage of 150 kV. The results showed that the impact of
the installed SVC system using this PMU has improved the quality of the power
generated from the 150 kV Transmission Line power source. In addition, the
results of this data prove that SVC plays a role in maintaining stable power at the
load and increasing energy efficiency by reducing power losses in the system
installed with SVC. The connection of SVC to the system has an effect on
increasing the current for each bus that is installed with SVC, so that the load
current has increased from before, giving an effect on increasing the voltage on
the bus installed with SVC, so that the voltage on each load has increased from
before. This comparison also displays the results of the positive sequence values
of phasor currents and phasor voltages before and after SVC is installed.
