Pengaruh Variasi Temperatur Dan Waktu Pemanasan Shrink Oven Terhadap Kualitas Produk Pallet Packing Di Converting 2 Pt Riau Andalan Pulp And Paper
ABSTRACT
In the industrial world, product quality and productivity are the keys to success for
various production systems. The process of packaging paper products is usually
referred to as the pallet packing process. The resulting product has a series of
processes that must be carried out starting from reading the skid ID to attaching the
shipping label to the product. The output of the product must meet the requirements
of form, good appearance or must not suffer from product defects. The shrink film
heating process requires several parameters from the shrink oven machine, including
temperature and heating time. Both of these parameters affect the visual results of the
product. Therefore, the heating temperature setting (210 oC, 220 oC and 230 oC) and
heating time were tested in order to determine the effect on product quality. In this
test, the method used is an experimental method in the form of temperature variations
of 210 oC, 220 oC and 230 oC and given time variations (8-28 seconds) at each of
these temperatures. Based on the test results, it is known that the defects in the
product after heating are immature shrink film (not shrinkage) and melted shrink film
(perforated). The optimal heating time for a temperature of 210 oC is 24 seconds. The
optimal heating time for a temperature of 220 oC is 22 seconds. And the optimal
heating time for a temperature of 230 oC is 18 seconds. After testing, the higher the
heating temperature used, the less time needed for heating.
