Implementasi Pembelajaran Menggunakan Model Kooperatif Tipe Stad Berbantuan Media Quizizz Untuk Upaya Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa Pada Materi Hukum Newton Kelas X SMA
One of the problems that exist in the world of education is the low cognitive learning outcomes of students. Based on the facts in the field, students' cognitive learning outcomes are low due to several factors including the use of inappropriate learning models and media so that the learning atmosphere feels boring and causes students' learning motivation to become lower which also affects students' cognitive learning outcomes. Therefore, efforts are needed to implement the right learning model, one of which is the STAD cooperative model, but so far the implementation of the STAD type cooperative model is still inefficient because it takes a long time, so we also need a learning media that can help streamline learning time and interesting, in order to increase students' interest in learning so as to improve students' cognitive learning outcomes as well, one of the learning media that can be applied is the Quizizz educational game media.
The purpose of this study is to describe the increase in cognitive learning outcomes of students who apply learning using the STAD type cooperative model assisted by Media Quizizz on Newton's Law material and to find out whether there are differences in students' cognitive learning outcomes between classes that apply learning using the STAD type cooperative model assisted by media quizzz. with classes that apply conventional learning. The expected benefits of this research include for other researchers, it is expected to be used as an additional reference source, for teachers, this research is expected to be an alternative learning model and interactive quiz evaluation media used during learning, while for students, this research is expected to be one of the efforts to provide a more interesting learning atmosphere so as to increase student interest and motivation as well as student cognitive learning outcomes.
This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Tambang in the even semester of the academic year 2021/2022 with a population of all class X Science and a sample
of 59 people consisting of class X Science 1 and X Science 2. The research design used was Quasi-experimental with the Nonequivalent Control model. Group Design with Posttest Only Control Groups Design model. This study consists of an experimental class and a control class, where the experimental class will be given treatment, namely during the learning process the STAD type cooperative model assisted by Quizizz will be applied, while in the control class learning will continue to use the conventional model. After the class is given treatment, both classes will be given a cognitive learning outcome test consisting of 10 multiple choice questions and 5 essay questions. Then, the cognitive learning outcomes will be analyzed using descriptive analysis through student absorption and inferential analysis through normality, homogeneity and hypothesis testing in the form of the Mann Whitney test.
From the results of descriptive analysis through student absorption, it was found that the cognitive learning outcomes of students in the experimental class that applied the STAD cooperative learning model assisted by Quizizz obtained a fairly good category and 8% higher than the control class that applied the conventional model with a poor category. Based on the inferential analysis, it was found that there was a significant difference in students' cognitive learning outcomes between the class that applied the STAD cooperative learning model assisted by Quizizz and the class that applied the conventional learning model on Newton's Law material.
Based on the results of the study, it was found that the STAD cooperative learning model assisted by Quizizz could be an effort to improve students' cognitive learning outcomes. Therefore, the authors recommend that the STAD cooperative learning model assisted by Quizizz can be used as an alternative model and learning media that can be applied by teachers in learning physics in high school to improve students' cognitive learning outcomes.
