Analisis Perbandingan Respon Stabilitas Sistem Dalam Penggunaan Pid Controller Dan Fuzzy Logic Controller Sebagai Frequency Load Control Pada Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Uap (Pltu) Pt. Riau Andalan Pulp And Paper
ABSTRACT
Load frequency control (LFC) is a system that used by power plant to handle
frequency stability problem that always occur on every power plant units. This
work compares the usage of PID controller and fuzzy logic control as load
frequency control in tg8 power plant unit that take place in PT. Riau Andalan
Pulp and Paper. This work also testify that fuzzy logic control is a method that
can be considered to be used in other powerplant unit. In this work, TG8 power
plant unit is transformed into mathematical model to able to be used in the
simulation using MATLAB application. This mathematical model is used as the
base for the planning of power plant circuit that using fuzzy logic control to be
compared with power plant circuit that using PID controller which has been used
in TG8 power plant unit. The simulation will be done by using the change of load
that occurred in TG8 power plant and getting control response parameter from
each circuits. The comparison is done by collecting the simulation data and
compare the two control response parameter and evaluate which control response
have the best performance.
