Perbandingan Manajemen Bandwidth Menggunakan Metode Per Connection Queue (Pcq) Dan Hierarchical Token Bucket (Htb) Pada Router Mikrotik (Studi Kasus Gadoca Cafe)
ABSTRACT
The advancement of technology, particularly internet technology, has
accelerated throughout time. Various elements of the field have benefited from the
internet, including business aspects such as this café, which has been impeded by
the pandemic. As a result, internet network management in the form of bandwidth
that is evenly given to each connected user is required at the café. On the Mikrotik
router at Gadoca Cafe, this research examines bandwidth control utilizing a queue
tree with the PCQ (Per Connection Queue) and HTB (Hierarchical Token Bucket)
approaches. The Winbox application and the proxy router tool RB750 gr3 are used
in this bandwidth management operation. Using wireshark software, he also
examines the network's quality based on the value of QoS (Quality of Service), such
as throughput, delay, jitter, and packet loss. According to the findings, the value of
bandwidth management using the HTB approach outperformed all other areas of
QoS, with an average throughput of 348.25 bps, an average delay of 2.87 ms, an
average jitter value of 2.88 ms, and a packet loss rate of 2.496 percent.
