Pusat Penelitian Dan Pengembangan Budidaya Ikan Air Tawar Dengan Pendekatan Arsitektur Organik Di Kabupaten Agam
ABSTRACT
Indonesia has a fish consumption rate tending to increase with a per capita
value of 38.14 kg in 2014 to 50.69 kg in 2018. The yield of fish from the catch tends
to be unstable and dependent on nature. Fish farming is one of the solutions to get
controlled yields. Agam Regency has approximately 2662 fish farmers with
increasing yields, but Maninjau lake has experienced a decline in water quality,
which is suspected to come from fish feed residues and the disorganization of
floating net cages in Maninjau lake. This problem requires a better understanding
of the cultivator and paying attention to the environment. With the existence of a
freshwater fish research and development center, it will help as a supervisor and
assist in the process of restoring the Maninjau lake. The use of organic concepts in
buildings helps to keep the surrounding nature somewhat not a new problem in its
development.
