Pengaruh Dosis Amelioran Dolomit Dan Jarak Tanam Terhadap Pertumbuhan Porang (Amarphalus Mueleri Blume) Pada Lahan Gambut
This study aims to determine the effect of dolomite ameliorant dose and
spacing on porang plant growth in peat land. The study used a split plot design
where there were main plots in the form of spacing and subplots in the form of 4
doses of ameliorant dolomite, namely 1.5 tons/ha, 2 tons/ha, 2.5 tons/ha, and 3
tons/ha. There were 36 plots of plants with 15 porang seeds planted in each plot
with a spacing of 40 cm x 40 cm, 40 cm x 60 cm and 40 cm x 80 cm. Observations
were made on all individuals in the plant population of the experimental unit.
Parameters observed were: plant height, stem circumference, number of leaves,
number of secondary stems, and plant dry weight. Observational data were
analyzed statistically using analysis of variance followed by Duncan's 5%
multiple test.
The results showed that there was an interaction between the dose of
dolomite 2.5 tons/ha and the spacing of 40 cm x 80 cm on the porang plant
growth components on peat land, namely the leaf area parameters; dose of
dolomite 2 tons/ha with a spacing of 40 cm x 80 cm on the porang plant growth
components on peat, namely the dry weight parameter; the 40 cm x 80 cm spacing
treatment affects plant height, leaf area and dry weight of porang plant seeds;
administration of dolomite doses of 2 tons/ha and 2.5 tons/ha affected the leaf
area of porang plants; Dolomite administration at a dose of 3 tons/ha had an
effect on the dry weight of porang seedlings.
