Pengaruh Larutan Daun Jambu Biji (Psidium Guajava) Dengan Dosis Yang Berbeda Terhadap Daya Tetas Telur Dan Kelulushidupan Larva Ikan Patin
ABSTRACT
This research was conducted in July-August 2021 at the Laboratory of Fish
Hatchery and Breeding, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science, University of
Riau. The Patin eggs used in this study were obtained from gonadally mature
patin broodstock injected using ovaprim hormone and stripping in the fish
hatchery and breeding laboratory of the Faculty of Fisheries, Riau University. The
research method was carried out experimentally using Completely Randomized
(CRD) consisting of 4 treatment levels (included) and 3 replications. The research
method was carried out experimentally using Completely Randomized (CRD)
consisting of 4 treatment levels (included) and 3 replications. The treatments in
this study, namely: P1: Immersion Eggs in Guava Leaf Solution with a dose of 0
g/L, P2: immersion Eggs in Guava Leaf Solution with a dose of 0.4 g/L, P3:
Immersion Eggs in Guava Leaf Solution Seeds with a dose of 0.6 g/L, P4 :
Immersion eggs in a solution of guava leaves with a dose of 0.8 g/L. From the
results of research that has been carried out, the immersion eggs using guava
leaves has a significant effect on hatchability and survival of patin (Pangasisus
hypophtalmus) eggs. The best treatment based on observations was P3 treatment
(0.6 g/liter of water) which resulted in fertilization (FR) of 89.67%, and
hatchability (HR) of 86.23%, and 4-day survival (SR) of 84.85%. , then the 10-
day survival (SR) is 92.28%. and Water quality with temperature values ranging
from 27-29°C, pH 5-6 and DO 5.2-6.6 ppm, these conditions are still within
neutral limits for fish.
