This research was motivated by the case of a pandemic caused by the Covid-19 virus which penetrated into all aspects of life including the education sector. Ineffective online learning will cause a decrease in the quality of creative character in students. Conceptually, creative character is something that involves one's thinking in processing and forming new ideas. In this study, researchers examined the comparison of the creative character of students in online learning for Civics subjects between male and female students at SMA Negeri 1 Singkep. The formulation of the problem in this study is whether there are differences in the creative character of online learning in Civics subjects between male and female students at SMA Negeri 1 Singkep. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there were differences in the creative character of online learning in Civics subjects between male and female students at SMA Negeri 1 Singkep. The research method used is descriptive quantitative. The population in this study were all students of class XI majoring in Mathematics and Natural Sciences at SMA Negeri 1 Singkep as many as 206 students, consisting of 86 male students and 120 female students. Determination of the sample using a quota sampling technique. The sample taken was 100 students, consisting of 50 male students and 50 female students. Data collection techniques used in this study are using observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this research is to use statistical tests. The results of the statistical test used for hypothesis testing were to compare two groups of data, namely male and female students with the results of 0.000219 and 0.000221 < 0.05 (2-tailed < 0.05), thus Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. It can be concluded that there are differences in creative characters in online learning of Civics subjects between male and female students at SMA Negeri 1 Singkep.
