Tombo Dalam Tradisi Adat Perkawinan Desa Beringin Taluk Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi
This study aims to describe the Tombo Structure in the traditional marriage tradition of Beringin Taluk Village, Kuantan Singingi Regency. The method in this research is to use analytical descriptive method, namely by analyzing and describing descriptively the data obtained in the study, broken down in the form of words not numbers. The research location is a wedding ceremony in the village of Beringin Taluk, Kuantan Singingi Regency. The researcher found the stages in tombo, namely introduction, handing over the children and grandchildren of the nephew, giving the title to the groom, and closing. The researcher found 25 data from the conversations delivered by the two speakers, both male and female. The researcher also found 27 mandated data in every delivery delivered by the speaker. Of the 27 mandates, the researchers found 4 mandates from the introduction stage, 14 mandates from the handover stage to hand over the nephew's children and grandchildren, 5 mandates from the stage of awarding the title to the groom, and 4 mandates at the closing stage.
