Peningkatan Kemampuan Sosial Emosional Anak Usia Prasekolah Melalui Permainan Engklek Di Kampung Maredan Barat Kecamatan Tualang Kabupaten Siak
This study was conducted to review the improvement of the socio-emotional capabilities
of children at preschool age through an engklek game in Maredan Barat Village, Tualang
District, Siak Regency. This research is expected to broaden knowledge and perspectives on how
playing engklek can improve the social and emotional abilities of preschool children. This study
serves as a basis and perspective for other researchers. Researchers used action research
methods with 8 preschool age children as subjects. This study resulted in an increase in socialemotional
abilities in pre-school age children that can be achieved through the engklek game.
This increase can be seen in the Pre-Action by obtaining an average score of 7.12 (25.4%) with
the criteria of Not Developing (BB), after being given an action in the cycle The average score
obtained is 8.18 (29.2 %) with the criteria Starting to Grow (MB). There was an increase in
socio-emotional abilities in preschool-aged children through the engklek game in cycle II having
an average score of 23.25 (82.95%) with very good development criteria (BSB).
