ABSTRACT
Scholarships must be awarded to deserving recipients. Scholarship selection was done manually, this will take longer, especially if many applicants apply. The purpose of this research was to built a decision support system in selecting web-based PPA FMIPA scholarship recipients at the University of Riau. The system design uses the Unified Modeling Language (UML) model and was developed using the Promethee method, the PHP programming language, and using MySQL as the database. This Decision Support System can be used to determine the ranking of prospective PPA scholarship recipients and provide convenience to the Academics of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Riau University. in conducting the selection and determination of PPA scholarship recipients at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Riau University.
