Penggunaan Model Pembelajaran Picture And Picture Untuk Meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar Pada Pembelajaran Sejarah Di Kelas X IPS SMAN 1 Bangko Pusako Rokan Hilir
Learning can be said to be effective if it achieves the desired learning objectives in accordance
with the achievement indicators. To find out how to get effective results in the learning process,
it is very important to know its characteristics. The characteristics of effective learning include:
1) Active learning mentally and physically, 2) Varied methods, 3) Teacher motivation for
learning in class. In order to present fun learning activities, there must be an update in the way of
teaching from the commonly used learning model to a more innovative learning model. Based on
this background, the title was taken, namely "The use of the Picture and Picture Learning Model
in learning history can increase learning motivation in class X IPS SMAN 1 Bangko Pusako
Rokan Hilir" with the aim of increasing students' learning motivation by using the type of Class
Action Research (CAR). In the results of student learning activities an average percentage of
79.16% has been achieved and has achieved an average success indicator of 60%. The learning
motivation indicator reached 81.64% and the success indicator was 75%, from the results
obtained, the Picture and Picture learning model succeeded in increasing students' learning
motivation.
