The implementation of distance learning in schools due to the impact of the spread of the covid-19 virus in Indonesia is a new challenge for the world of education in order to achieve effective learning not only for teachers but also students. Many schools have switched from using conventional learning media to IT-based learning media, as a step to achieve optimal learning in presenting learning resources according to the needs and learning characteristics of students. application called Moodle for Chemical Equilibrium course in second grades of senior high school that is valid based on software engineering aspects, learning design aspects, and audio-visual communication aspects, as well as knowing the responses of teachers and students. The research method is R&D with the Plomp research model. The results obtained from this study include (1) the results of the validation by the validator on the product covering aspects of learning design, software engineering and aspects of audio-visual communication, obtaining results of 95%, 96%, and 94% respectively with their respective categories. declared valid. (2) User responses consisting of 94% teacher responses and 94% student responses with very good response criteria.
