This research is based on the observation in a study group at Cikal Desa Bukit Pedusunan, Kuantan Mudik, Kuantan Sengingi Regency, about the children’s pre-reading skills that are still not optimally develop. Therefore, it is necessary to do the research using rotating cards media. This research aims to determine the children’s pre-reading skills using rotating cards media aged 5-6 years. The research is an experimental method that is carried out 6 times, once pre-test, fourth for treatment, and the last one for post-test. Pre-test held on March 16, 2020, for treatment held 3 days in a row, on March 17-19 2020, and post-test on March 20, 2020. Data collection was carried out in several stages, pre-test, third times for treatment and, a post-test. 15 children are selected as a sample for this research. Pre-reading skills data were collected by using observation sheets. The data analysis technique used statistical test value with thitung -11,633 means absolute, so the (-) is not used then thitung 11,633 because (Sig.2-tailed) = 0,00
