Implementasi Media Pembelajaran Berbasis Pendekatan Saintifik Menggunakan Augmented Reality Pada Materi Tata Surya Untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis Peserta Didik Kelas VII SMP
The purpose of this study is to describe the effectiveness of the application of learning media based on a scientific approach using augmented reality to improve students' critical thinking skills. The design used is a quasi-experimental: Posttest only control group design. The population in this study were all grade VII students of SMP Negeri 23 Pekanbaru in the academic year 2021/2022 with a sample that collected 65 students consisting of class VII A as the experimental class which collected 32 students and class VII B as the control class which opened 33 students. student . The data collection instrument is a test of critical thinking skills on the solar system material which consists of 10 multiple choices. The data analysis used is descriptive analysis through the average value of students and inferential analysis through normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis testing with the help of SPSS 23 program. The results show that the average score of students in the experimental class is better than the control class and there are there is a significant difference in students' critical thinking skills between the experimental class that applies the scientific approach-based learning media using augmented reality and the control class that applies the conventional learning model.
