Aplikasi Pupuk Organik Cair (Poc) Kotoran Kambing Difermentasikan Dengan Effective Microorganism 4 (Em4) Pada Medium Gambut Terhadap Pertumbuhan Semai Pulai (Alstonia Scholaris)
ABSTRACT
Alstonia scholaris is a forest plant that can live on peatlands and has many benefits. Efforts to produce quality products in Alstonia scholaris can be done by giving goat manure LOF. The addition of effective microorganisms 4 in the manufacture of LOF will speed up the fermentation time. This study aims to determine the effect and the best concentration of liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) fermented goat manure with effective microorganism 4 on peat medium on the growth of Alstonia scholaris. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) method consisting of 4 treatments and 4 replications in order to obtain 16 experimental units. The treatments were: K0 (control) K1 (LOF concentration 20%) K2 (LOF concentration 50%) K3 (LOF concentration 80%). Data were analyzed using statistical variance using SPSS version 23.0. The goal is to find out whether or not there is one treatment that has a significant effect on the study, if there is, it is continued with Duncan's New Multiple Range Test (DNMRT) at the 5% level. The application of liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) of goat manure has an effect on spurring the growth of Alstonia scholaris and the best concentration of liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) of goat manure fermented with effective microorganism 4 on peat medium on the growth of Alstonia scholaris is a concentration of 20% (Treatment K1) with the percentage of live 70% seedling, 2,21 cm increase in seedling height, 0,23 mm in diameter increase, plant dry weight 1,75 g and top-root ratio 4.77.
