Pengaruh Motivasi Mengajar Terhadap Kesiapan Mengajar Pada Mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial Fkip Universitas Riau
This study is a quantitative study that aims to determine teaching readiness which is influenced by teaching motivation of students of the Social Sciences Education Department, Faculty of Education, Riau University. Respondents in this study amounted to 68 students, taken from all active PIPS students totaling 211 students, with simple random sampling technique. The data was collected through a questionnaire distributed by google form. The data obtained were then analyzed by quantitative descriptive statistical techniques. The data obtained that teaching motivation is in the very good category 51% and teaching readiness in the very good category 60%. Then the data is processed using SPSS version 24. The results show that teaching motivation contributes to teaching readiness by 59%. This means that if teaching motivation has increased by 1 unit, it will be followed by an increase of 1 unit also in teaching readiness. It can be concluded that there is a significant influence of teaching motivation on the readiness to teach prospective teachers, students, Department of Social Sciences Education, FKIP University of Riau.
