Faktor-Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Perilaku Konsumtif Mahasiswa Pendidikan Ekonomi Fkip Universitas Riau
This study aims to determine the effect of social media and lifestyle on the consumptive behavior of Economic Education students at the University of Riau. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research. The population in this study were students of Economic Education, Riau University class 2018, 2019, and 2020, totaling 258 students. With the sampling technique using random sampling technique as many as 137 students. The data collection method uses a questionnaire distributed via google form with data analysis techniques using multiple linear regression analysis. Hypothesis testing was carried out with partial and simultaneous significance tests. Based on the results of the study, partially social media and lifestyle variables have a positive and significant effect on consumptive behavior. While the value of the coefficient of determination (R2) was obtained at 0.414, which means that the variables of social media and lifestyle simultaneously affect the consumptive behavior of students by 41.4% while the remaining 58.6% is influenced by other variables not included in this study.
