Pengembangan Lks Elektronik Berbasis Kontekstual Untuk Memfasilitasi Kemampuan Pemahaman Matematis Siswa SMP/Mts Pada Materi Himpunan
This research was motivated by the difficulty of students understanding concepts independently through printed teaching materials, especially on set material. The set material is related to daily activities that students often encounter. Learning should begin by providing real problems in everyday life to provide a stimulus so that students are able to find their own concepts and understand concepts well. Therefore, a contextual approach is needed or called Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) in learning that is able to link learning materials with daily activities, thus making learning more meaningful. The purpose of this study was to produce contextual-based electronic worksheets to facilitate the mathematical understanding of SMP/MTs students on set material. The research conducted is research and development with a 4-D development model. The stages of the 4-D model consist of Define, Design Develop and Disseminate. The instruments used in this study were electronic LKS validation sheets and student response questionnaires. The results of the electronic LKS assessment by 3 validators obtained an average total validation value of 3.58 with very valid criteria, while the results of the electronic LKS assessment from student responses obtained an average total practicality value of 3.60 with very practical criteria. Based on the results of the validation and student responses, it can be concluded that the development of contextual-based electronic worksheets to facilitate the mathematical understanding of SMP/MTs students on the set material has met the very valid criteria and is very practical to be used as a learning medium.
