Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Booklet Berbasis Inkuiri Pada Materi Sel Kelas XI SMA

The success of learning is strongly influenced by many factors including the use of learning media. The biology of cell matter is a difficult subject to understand because there are many abstract concepts and confusing terms. One of the obstacles faced by students in the learning process of cell material is the lack of variety of learning media which affects the low response and interest of students. Based on these problems, this study aims to develop inquiry-based booklet learning media on cell material for class XI SMA. The booklet development uses Research and Development (R&D) research using the ADDIE model which is carried out until the development stage. The instruments used in this study were validation sheets and response questionnaires. The research was validated by 2 lecturers of Biology Education at the University of Riau and 2 Biology teachers at SMAN 1 Bunguran Timur. The results of the average validity value in all aspects of 3.40 with a very valid category. The results of the first stage of the trial obtained a score of 3.46 with a very valid category and the second stage of the trial obtained a score of 3.51 with a very valid category. So the development of inquiry-based booklets on cell material for class XI SMA is feasible to be used as a medium of learning in schools.
