Analisis Pengaruh Konfigurasi Dan Kedalaman Elektroda Pentanahan Terhadap Nilai Tahanan Pentanahan
ABSTRACT
The grounding system is one of the most important factors in securing the
electric power system. The grounding system serves to dump the overcurrent into
the ground, so as to protect humans from electrical disturbances. A good
grounding system is a grounding system that has the smallest possible ground
resistance value. The purpose of this study was to analyze and determine the effect
of the configuration and depth of the grounding electrode in an effort to reduce
the value of the grounding resistance. The research method used is the method of
testing and direct measurement at the research site. This study uses a type of
copper rod electrode with a length of 1 m and a diameter of 15.8 mm. Tests were
carried out on a single rod electrode configuration, two parallel rod electrode
configurations, a triangular rod electrode configuration and a square rod
electrode configuration with the depth of each rod electrode configuration varied
50 cm, 75 cm and 100 cm. The results showed that the square rod electrode
configuration had the smallest ground resistance value and each ground rod
electrode configuration at a depth of 100 cm had the smallest ground resistance
value. The square rod electrode configuration with a depth of 100 cm has the
smallest grounding resistance value of 55.2 Ohm.
