The formulation of this research is to find out how high the empathy of parents towards children's learning at home during the COVID-19 pandemic in Wonorejo Village, Marpoyan Damai District, Pekanbaru City. This type of research is quantitative research with a descriptive approach. The sampling technique uses the Sample Random Sampling method, which is a method of drawing a population in a certain way so that each member of the population has the same opportunity to be selected or taken. The data in this study were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis of data and inferential analysis. Based on an analysis of parental empathy for children's learning at home during the Covid-19 pandemic, Wonorejo Village, Marpoyan Damai District, Pekanbaru City, it is quite high at 3.61 and the standard deviation is 0.24. The Contribution of Parental Empathy to Children's Learning at Home During the Covid-19 Pandemic, Wonorejo Village, Marpoyan Damai Sub-district, Pekanbaru City is considered to have a low contribution with a neutral interpretation contribution to the variable Parental Empathy for Children's Learning at Home During the Covid-19 Pandemic Period, Wonorejo Sub-district, Marpoyan Damai City. Pekanbaru with a percentage of 27.98% with a low estimate. This means that each indicator is being carried out by parents so that empathy is low.
