Analisa Dan Desain Dinamometer Arus Eddy Untuk Pengujian Motor Kapasitas 56 Kw
ABSTRACT
A dinamometer is a tool used to measure torque and rotation produced by a motor or other propulsion engine. The working principle of this dinamometer is by rotating a shaft which has a rotor disc containing an electro-magnetic coil. When current pass through the coil it will produce a strong magnetic field, this also produces a current that rotates in the rotor disk as opposed to the rotation of the rotor, producing a torque between the stator and rotor rotation. Variations in current will also make torque vary as well. To produce appropriate result in this design, it is necessary to determine the diameter of the wire, the length of the wire, the diameter of the iron core, the length of the iron core. Based in the result of the analysis and design of an Eddy current dinamometer dor measuring 56 kW of power. The diameter of the wire obtained is 0,75 mm, the diameter of the rotor and stator 295 mm and the length of the solenoid is 90 mm. researches designed and simulated an Eddy current dinamometer with a braking power of 56 kW with a rotation speed of 2600 rpm. Eddy currents are induced current produced by the movement of a conductor in a magnetic field. Variations in rotational speeds during testing are 2350, 2400, 2450, 2500, 2550 and 2600 rpm. The result with a strong current of 11,36 A got the highest torque of 206 Nm with a power of 56,133 Kw and a magnetic field obtained that was 4,51 Tesla.
