Mosque youth organizations in general have many roles played by teenagers
who care and are active towards the situation and condition of the community in their
environment. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of the role of
mosque youth in character education at the Istikharah Mosque in Kualu Village. The
problem that arises is the difficulty of building character education at this time which
is strongly influenced by various factors ranging from technological developments
and advances that characterize people's daily activities. The purpose of this study
was to determine the level of the role of mosque youth in character education at the
Istikharah Mosque. In the role of mosque youth in character education includes
individual roles and social roles. This research was conducted at the Istikharah
Mosque, Kualu Village, Tambang District, Kampar Regency. This type of research is
descriptive with a quantitative approach. The population in this study is the
population of the Youth of the Istikharah Mosque as many as 55 people. With a
sample of 35 mosque youths with a critical level of 10%. Data collection techniques
used in this study were observation, questionnaires. The data analysis in this study
was descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis and was carried
out using Microsoft Excel and SPSS Version 23 For Windows programs. The results
of this study the role of mosque youth in character education in Kualu Village,
Tambang District, Kampar Regency is quite high, with the highest indicator being
social role.
