Pengaruh Media Smart Parenting Terhadap Kemampuan Mediasi Digital Orang Tua Selama Pandemi Di TK Al-Azhar 54 Kota Pekanbaru

Based on the observations of parents at Kindergarten Al-Azhar 54 Pekanbaru City, information was obtained that almost most of the parents did not
knowing the dangers of using gadgets, providing rules for when to play gadgets, not providing supervision, limits on internet content that can be accessed by children, not understanding the impact of gadgets, and not being able to guide children about proper internet use. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Smart Parenting media on parents' digital media skills during the pandemic at Al-Azhar Kindergarten 54 Pekanbaru City. The type of research used is quantitative experimental research. The sample used in this study were all parents who have children aged 5-6 years in TK Al-Azhar 54 Pekanbaru City, amounting to 34 people. The data collection method used is a true false objective test. The results showed that there was a significant effect of the use of Smart Parenting media on the digital mediation ability of parents, it can be seen from the value of t count (18,848) > t table (2,035) with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, then Ho is rejected and Ha accepted, which means that there is a significant influence of the Smart Parenting media variable on the digital mediation variable of parents and the magnitude of the influence value is 78.14%. So, it can be said that 78.14% of parents' digital mediation ability is influenced by Smart Parenting media.
