ABSTRACT
Galang Island is one of Batam City's tourist hotspots, with nature tourism being one of them. Natural tourism on Galang Island is similar to Kampung Vietnam, and the island is surrounded by lovely beaches. Reviola Beach is one of the beaches on Galang Island that has the potential for beaches with white sand and a position far away from the city's noise. This beach is a coastal region that necessitates a design that takes a shape-exploration approach. Bioclimatic Architecture become one as a relationship between climate and buildings. Reviola Beach is not different with other beaches, the site with high temperature and humidity climates can be minimizes by minimalizes energy consumption and eco-friendly. The method used is a qualitative method by using primary and secondary data that being collected and analyzed to the function of Resort Design on the coast of Reviola Batam City using a Bioclimatic Architecture principle, in order to obtain the best design concept.
