Penggunaan Konjungsi Subordinatif Dalam Novel Dia Adalah Kakakku Karya Tere Liye

This study aims to describe the use and meaning of subordinating conjunctions in Tere Liye
novel Dia Adalah Kakakku. This type of research is qualitative. The method used in this research
is descriptive method. The source of data in this study is pure data contained in the novel Dia
adalah Kakakku by Tere Liye. These data were collected using documentation techniques with
reading and note-taking techniques. The results of the study on the use of subordinating
conjunctions in Tere Liye novel Dia adalah Kakakku are mostly used at the beginning and
middle of sentences, while at the end of sentences no one uses subordinating conjunctions. Based
on Charlina's theory, there are ten meanings of subordinating conjunctions. The meaning of
subordinate conjunctions contained in the novel Dia adalah Kakakku by Tere Liye, only nine
meanings were found, one meaning was not found.
