Analisis Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Siswa Melalui Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Learning Cycle 5e Berbantuan Quizizz Pada Materi Getaran Harmonis Di SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru
In physics learning, students are required to be active in learning. It can be seen in schools that most physics lessons tend to be informative or only in the form of transferring knowledge from teachers to students without involving activities, even though it is important to hone students' critical thinking skills. Therefore, it is important to use a model that can hone students' critical thinking skills, one of which is the Learning Cycle 5E model. This study aims to determine the level of students' critical thinking skills through the application of the Learning Cycle 5E model on Harmonic Vibration material in class X SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru. The type of research used is Quasi-Experiment with Post-test Only design. The data collection instrument used a critical thinking ability test (posttest) which was made according to the aspects of critical thinking skills according to Ennis. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. The results of the descriptive analysis showed that the average percentage of students' critical thinking skills in the experimental class was 73.61% in the high category while in the control class the percentage was 60.00% in the medium category. From the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the application of the 5E Learning Cycle model can improve students' critical thinking skills on the material of harmonic vibrations in class X SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru.
